UzCard Net Profit Rises 42% in Q1 2026

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Joint-stock company “Unified Republican Processing Center” (UzCard) reported a net profit of 437.4 billion soums in the first quarter of 2026 based on unaudited IFRS reporting, marking a 42.2% increase compared with the same period in 2025.

The company also announced an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders scheduled for May 25, with the agenda including profit distribution for the first quarter and allocation of retained earnings from previous years.

The supervisory board recommended a dividend payout of 13,300 soums per share. Total dividend payments, according to the recommendation, may amount to 665 billion soums, equivalent to approximately $55 million.

UzCard’s financial indicators also showed growth across key areas during the reporting period. Assets increased by 34.8% year-on-year to 1.4 trillion soums, while equity rose by 38.8% to 1.2 trillion soums.

Retained earnings reached 1.2 trillion soums, up 41.6%. Net revenue amounted to 621.7 billion soums, while operating profit stood at 421.7 billion soums.

In 2022, the state stake in UzCard, previously owned by five state-owned banks, was transferred to four private co-owners of the company. At that time, 75% of the state share was sold for 210.1 billion soums, with the total valuation of the payment system estimated at around 280 billion soums, or approximately $25.2 million at the exchange rate at that time.
