Uzbekneftegaz, REPSOL YPF hold talks in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Management of Uzbekneftegaz national holding company received a delegation of Spain’s REPSOL YPF led by executive vice-president Nemesio Fernandez-Cuesta y Luca de Tena.

The press service of the Uzbek company said that the sides discussed opportunities of establishing mutual beneficial cooperation in oil and gas sector.

Repsol YPF, S.A. is an integrated Spanish oil and gas company with operations in 29 countries. The bulk of its assets are located in Spain and Argentina, as a result of the 1999 takeover of Argentine energy firm YPF by the Spanish conglomerate Repsol S.A.

It is now the 15th largest petroleum refining company according to the Fortune Global 500 list, employing over 40,000 people worldwide. The company has over 6,900 petroleum stations in Europe and Latin America.
