Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — According to the National Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan’s textile production reached 58.5 trillion soums in the first eight months of the year, marking a 6.3% increase compared to the same period in 2024.

Textiles accounted for 8.9% of the country’s total industrial output.

Exports from the sector stood at around US$1.7 billion, representing 7.3% of Uzbekistan’s overall exports.
