Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan produced 3.5 trillion soums worth of basic pharmaceutical products and preparations in January–July 2026.

Production increased by 20.7% compared with the same period last year, the National Statistics Committee said.

The largest volume of pharmaceutical production was recorded in Tashkent city, at 2.1 trillion soums. Syrdarya region ranked second, with 529 billion soums, followed by Tashkent region, where output amounted to 286.4 billion soums.

Production in Namangan region totaled 214.2 billion soums, while Samarkand region recorded 143.1 billion soums, Andijan region 83.6 billion soums and Ferghana region 63.5 billion soums.

Surkhandarya region produced pharmaceutical products worth 53.7 billion soums, Khorezm region 20.6 billion soums, Kashkadarya region 17.4 billion soums and Bukhara region 9.4 billion soums.

In the Republic of Karakalpakstan, pharmaceutical production amounted to 3.5 billion soums. Navoi region accounted for 0.2 billion soums and Jizzakh region for 0.1 billion soums.
