Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — In 2025, Uzbekistan had an average of 19.2 square meters of total housing space per resident.
The figure increased by 4.2 square meters, or 28%, over 15 years, the National Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.
In 2010, average housing provision stood at 15 square meters per person. By 2015, the indicator had risen to 15.2 square meters, reaching 16 square meters in 2020.
A more significant increase was recorded in 2021, when housing space per person reached 18.2 square meters. The figure stood at 18.5 square meters in 2022 and 19 square meters in 2023.
In 2024, average housing space per resident amounted to 18.9 square meters. In 2025, the indicator increased to 19.2 square meters.
Thus, between 2010 and 2025, average total housing space per resident in Uzbekistan increased from 15 to 19.2 square meters.
