Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan and Georgia are holding a joint business mission in Tashkent on 28–29 October to strengthen trade and economic relations, expand industrial cooperation and attract investment.

The event was organized by Uzbekistan's Embassy in Azerbaijan and Georgia, with support from the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.

The Georgian delegation includes representatives of the country's business community, including the Investment Chamber of Georgia, the Tbilisi Free Industrial Zone and companies Business Shop, EurAsia Gulf, PB Service, Blanco, GWG Development and WeGroup.

Representatives of relevant Uzbek government agencies and enterprises are also participating in the negotiations.

The discussions focus on expanding bilateral trade, strengthening industrial cooperation, attracting investment and developing joint business initiatives.

The business mission's programme includes presentations by Georgian companies, direct business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-government (B2G) negotiations, and visits to New Tashkent and IT Park Uzbekistan.

During these visits, participants will explore Uzbekistan's investment opportunities and infrastructure.

Organizers expect the business contacts established between entrepreneurs from the two countries to facilitate the development of promising joint projects and further strengthen bilateral economic cooperation.
