Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry discussed expanding trade and economic cooperation with Russia and Belarus, as well as preparations for an international business forum scheduled to take place in Tashkent in November–December 2026.
The meeting was attended by Alisher Shaikhov, an adviser to the chamber’s chairman; Igor Kamynin, Russia’s deputy trade representative in Uzbekistan; Diana Aynetdinova, an adviser at the Russian Embassy; and Elena Vasilevskaya, an adviser on trade and economic affairs at the Belarusian Embassy.
Participants considered prospects for expanding cooperation with Russian regions and Belarusian business circles, increasing bilateral trade and developing industrial partnerships.
Particular attention was paid to organising direct business-to-business (B2B) meetings between entrepreneurs. The discussions also covered the preliminary selection of companies for the forum and the need to systematically monitor the implementation of agreements after the event.
Following the talks, the sides agreed to draw up delegations for the forum, coordinate organisational arrangements and continue strengthening practical cooperation among business communities in Uzbekistan, Russia and Belarus.
