Uzbekistan’s Chamber of Accounts Makes Leadership Changes
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan’s Chamber of Accounts has undergone changes to its leadership, with new deputy chairmen appointed and responsibilities for compliance and internal anti-corruption control reassigned.
The appointments were made by orders of Presidential Administration head Saida Mirziyoyeva.
Ulugbek Aripov was appointed deputy chairman of the Chamber of Accounts for compliance and internal anti-corruption control. Before his appointment, he headed a sector of the Compliance Service of the Presidential Administration.
Jamshid Mirzaev was also appointed deputy chairman of the Chamber of Accounts.
Atabek Allaberganov was relieved of his position as deputy chairman of the Chamber of Accounts in connection with his transfer to another job.
Changes also affected the Compliance Service of the Presidential Administration. Sardor Mirzaev was appointed head of the relevant sector. He previously served as deputy chairman of the Chamber of Accounts.
The personnel decisions have therefore simultaneously renewed the leadership of the Chamber of Accounts and reassigned responsibilities for compliance and internal anti-corruption control.
