Uzbekistan U-23 defeats Qatar in friendly match

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan U-23 defeated Qatar in a friendly match in Doha, the Uzbekistan Football Federation said.

According to the Federation, Uzbekistan clinched a 2-0 victory over Qatar. The match was held in Doha, Qatar.

Akrom Komilov opened the score on 73 minutes of the game, while Doston Tursunov doubled the lead of Uzbekistan on 90 minutes.

Uzbekistan is preparing to the AFC U-23 Championship in Qatar, which will be held in January 2016.
