Uzbekistan U-16 clinch narrow victory over Bahrain

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan clinched a narrow victory over Bahrain to open their AFC U-16 Championship 2018 qualifying campaign in dramatic fashion.

Bahrain went into the match on a high, after having beaten Sri Lanka 6-0 in their opening Group A tie on Saturday while Uzbekistan were playing their first match of the Qualifiers.

Only goal of the match was scored in the end of the match. Substitute Mirjalol Kosimov netted important goal and won all three points for Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan will face Sri-Lanka in their second match of Group A of the AFC U-16 Championship 2018 qualifying round on 20 September.
