Uzbekistan, Türkiye Discuss Telecommunications Development
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan’s Telecommunications Management Center held talks in Türkiye with representatives of government agencies and technology companies on developing cooperation in telecommunications and monitoring, the Telecommunications Management Center said.
On 7 September, the center’s delegation met with Beytullah Koşçu, vice president of Türkiye’s Information and Communications Technologies Authority (BTK). The sides exchanged experience and information on mobile device security.
The talks focused in particular on mechanisms for detecting and blocking cloned devices, as well as practical approaches to combating fraud in telecommunications networks.
The sides also paid particular attention to the management and monitoring of radio frequency spectrum. The agenda included the introduction of anti-fraud systems, mobile number portability (MNP), numbering resource management and caller line identification (CLI).
On 8 September, the Telecommunications Management Center delegation met with the management of Turkish technology company TechNarts, headed by Taha Yaycı.
The talks covered opportunities for cooperation in monitoring mobile operator networks and television broadcasting, as well as the use of modern technological solutions.
The participants also discussed the exchange of technical expertise, practical experience and information. The sides separately considered prospects for joint projects based on the technological needs and priority areas of the Telecommunications Management Center.
The meetings provided an opportunity to discuss specific areas for further cooperation with Turkish government and technology partners and laid the groundwork for subsequent exchanges of experience and implementation of joint initiatives.
