Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Trading in securities issued by 72 companies on the Republican Stock Exchange “Toshkent” totalled 2.34 trillion soums in September, with the number of transactions reaching 198,106.
Turnover on the over-the-counter market amounted to 409.55 billion soums, bringing combined trading volume on and off the exchange to approximately 2.75 trillion soums.
The average daily number of transactions involving securities included in the exchange’s quotation list was 9,434, while average daily trading volume reached 111.26 billion soums.
The market capitalisation of shares increased by 6.99 trillion soums, or 0.86%, during the month to reach 819.91 trillion soums (US$69.36 billion).
The market capitalisation of free-float shares stood at 11.23 trillion soums (US$949.82 million).
At the end of September, the exchange’s quotation list included 144 financial instruments issued by 86 companies.
