Uzbekistan to play friendly match with Iran

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan will play a friendly match with Iran in June 2015, the Iranian mass media reported.

According to Tehran Times, the match will take place in Tashkent on 11 June 2015. Before the match Iran will hold training camp in Turkey.

Both Uzbekistan and Iran are preparing to the second round of the qualification round of the FIFA World Cup 2018. Uzbekistan will kick off its qualification campaign against North Korea. The away match will be held on 16 June.

Uzbekistan is in Group H along with Bahrain, North Korea, Yemen and Philippines.
