Uzbekistan to increase pensions and benefits

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) - From 1 May 2022, pensions and benefits will increase by 12% in Uzbekistan, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev said at a meeting on Friday.

The minimum amount of pensions received by 725,000 people will be increased by 14% - from 440,000 to 500,000 soums.

Also on the eve of 9 May, participants in the Second World War, prisoners of concentration camps and blockade of Leningrad will be given 15 million soums.
