Uzbekistan to Host Two International Air Navigation Forums
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan is hosting two major international events in the field of air navigation for the first time. The third annual general meeting of SOCEA has opened in Tashkent, while the CANSO Eurasia ANSP’s Summit will be held in the capital on 9 September.
SOCEA AGM/3 brought together representatives of European and Asian air navigation service providers, as well as international aviation organizations.
During the meeting, participants will discuss SOCEA’s activities, current aviation safety issues, cooperation among air navigation service providers and further directions for the development of the regional platform.
SOCEA is a regional air navigation coordination platform for Europe and Asia. It was established to promote cooperation in air traffic management and air navigation safety, as well as the exchange of information and experience.
The next international event will be the CANSO Eurasia ANSP’s Summit, which will take place in Tashkent on 9 September.
The summit will focus on the development of air traffic management (ATM) systems, communications, navigation and surveillance (CNS), the use of artificial intelligence technologies and the development of the Green ATM concept.
Participants will also discuss air traffic flow management (ATFM), the efficient use of airspace and cross-border coordination among air navigation service providers.
