Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — WB Taxi, a ride-hailing service owned by the combined company Wildberries & Russ, has launched operations in Andijan. Residents can now book rides through the mobile application, available on Google Play and the App Store.
The service offers three fare options: Standard, Comfort and Multi. The latter allows users to search for vehicles across several categories simultaneously, which the company says is intended to reduce waiting times.
WB Taxi also operates a bonus programme. Users who pay for rides by bank card through the app earn points that can later be used to pay for subsequent trips by card.
According to Timur Aliyev, head of WB Taxi in Uzbekistan, the service offers drivers transparent cooperation terms, a reduced aggregator commission for partners and regular payouts. Drivers can also earn additional income by meeting the platform’s work requirements.
Before launching in Andijan, WB Taxi was already operating in Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara and Namangan.
Outside Uzbekistan, the service is available in Belarus, in Minsk and Brest; Kyrgyzstan, in Bishkek, Osh and Manas; and Armenia, in Yerevan.
