Uzbekistan studies electrical engineering market in Syria

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation of Uzbekistan’s electrical engineering enterprises has assessed opportunities in the Syrian market during a working visit to the Syrian Arab Republic. The group was led by the Chairman of the Uzelttehsanoat Association Mirziyod Yunusov.

The analysis examined key parameters of the local electrical products market, including the structure of consumer demand, the level of competition, and the range of goods available in retail networks. Particular attention was paid to current market needs and potential niches for Uzbek manufacturers.

Members of the delegation also collected preliminary data on conditions for entering the Syrian market. In particular, pricing parameters, possible logistics routes, and practical mechanisms for trade cooperation were studied.

The study is aimed at expanding the export geography of Uzbekistan’s electrical engineering products, identifying new sales directions for domestic manufacturers, and strengthening long-term business ties with partners in Syria.
