Uzbekistan, South Korea discuss strategic partnership

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 3 June 2026, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mirvohid Azimov held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Uzbekistan Won Do Yeon.

During the talks, the sides discussed current issues in the development of Uzbekistan–South Korea relations based on their strategic partnership.

Special attention was paid to further strengthening political dialogue and expanding trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.

The parties also exchanged views on preparations for planned events at various levels scheduled for the current year.
