Uzbekistan Railways increases train tickets by 20% from March

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan Temir Yollari (Uzbekistan Railways) is constantly working to increase the number of trains, new routes, improve service and ensure the safe passage of passengers on all its trains.

In order to ensure the development of the sphere, starting from March 1, 2019, the cost of train tickets for passenger trains in all local directions will be increased by 20%. Tickets for high-speed Afrosiab trains remain unchanged

The increase is due to cover the cost of electricity consumed, consumables purchased, will allow you to pay competitive salaries to service personnel and offset the remaining costs associated with the maintenance of trains.

In turn, all this will contribute to an increase in the number of railway routes and on socially significant routes.
