Uzbek President Begins State Visit to Kyrgyzstan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed for a state visit to the Kyrgyz Republic on 30 July at the invitation of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov.

Top-level Uzbek-Kyrgyz talks will be held in the city of Cholpon-Ata to discuss current issues of bilateral cooperation, as reported earlier.

As part of the visit, the Uzbek leader will also take part in events of the informal Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and Azerbaijan.
