Uzbekistan produces medical products for 564.5bn soums in 2014

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan’s enterprises of medical industry produced goods for 564.5 billion soums, which grew by 12.6% year-on-year, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.

Large enterprises of industry increased production of medicaments without hormones or antibiotics by 15.7%.

At the same time, the industry increased production of cotton wool, gauze and similar materials, impregnated or coated with pharmaceutical substances by 33.1% in 2014.
