Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — From January to December 2024, the total volume of clothing and accessories production made from various materials—including leather, textiles, woven and knitted fabrics—amounted to 33.8 trillion soums, according to the Statistics Agency.
This category includes all types of clothing, such as outerwear and underwear for men, women, and children, as well as workwear, office attire, casual, and sportswear.
The sector continues to show steady growth:
2020 — 10.4 trillion soums
2021 — 13.6 trillion soums
2022 — 17.3 trillion soums
2023 — 23.1 trillion soums
With this upward trend, Uzbekistan’s clothing industry is strengthening its position in both domestic and international markets.
