Uzbekistan plans to build 11 new hydroelectric power plants

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan plans to build 11 new hydroelectric power plants with a total output of 587 megawatts of electricity in 2021. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.

Also, Uzbekistan plans to modernize five hydroelectric power plants with an increase in their capacity.

The volume of investments in these projects will amount to US$1.42 billion.
