Uzbekistan pharma agency discusses cooperation with Beijing SaituoSen Biotechnology

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Director of the Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Azizov held an official meeting with a delegation of scientists and specialists from the Chinese biotechnology company Beijing SaituoSen Biotechnology (LFD). The visit of the foreign partners took place on 22 June 2026 within the framework of strengthening international scientific and practical cooperation in the healthcare sector.

During the presentation, representatives of the Chinese side familiarized the agency leadership with their advanced biotechnological developments and the results of current scientific research. A special emphasis was placed on demonstrating innovative next-generation medicines developed by the company and intended for the targeted treatment of various types of oncological diseases.

Within the framework of the bilateral negotiations, the parties discussed in detail strategic directions for expanding interaction in high-tech sectors of pharmaceuticals.

The meeting participants focused main attention on the possibilities of launching joint research and development projects, transferring innovative Chinese technologies to the production facilities of Uzbekistan, and organizing regular programs for exchanging experience between leading specialists and scientists of the two states.
