Uzbekistan Opens Online First-Grade Admissions on 20 June

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In Uzbekistan, admissions to the first grade for the 2026/2027 academic year will begin on 20 June and will be carried out in electronic format through the Unified Portal of Interactive Public Services or the e-services portal of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education.

The admission process will be organized in two stages. The first stage will run from June 20 to July 31 and will cover enrollment in schools within the assigned micro-district. The second stage is scheduled from 1 August to 31 August and will be available for applications to schools outside the assigned micro-district.

It is reported that the number of districts and cities where first-grade admissions are processed through state e-services has increased from 64 to 135. At the same time, the number of schools included in the electronic admission system has grown from 1,956 to 5,689.

Children who turn seven in the year of enrollment are eligible for admission to the first grade. For the 2026/2027 academic year, children born on or before December 31, 2019, are eligible for enrollment.
