Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan has opened its first UZELECTRONICS multibrand retail center in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, the Uzeltеchsanoat Association said on Monday.
The new facility in Mazar-i-Sharif covers 1,200 square meters and showcases products from 25 Uzbek manufacturers. More than 500 types of electrical and household equipment are available to customers.
According to the association, the launch reflects growing demand for Uzbek-made electronics in the Afghan market.
Work has also begun on establishing a similar center in Kabul, the association added.
