Uzbekistan moves one place up in FIFA ranking

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) announced its new ranking of national teams.

Uzbekistan national team moved one place up in new FIFA ranking and now holds the 61st place in the world.

Uzbekistan is the sixth best team in the FIFA ranking among Asian countries. Iran (29th place), South Korea (37), Australia (44), Japan (46) and Saudi Arabia (48) are ahead of Uzbekistan among AFC members.

Argentina topped the FIFA ranking. Brazil and Germany share the second and third places respectively.
