Uzbekistan Loses Doubles Match to Nigeria in Davis Cup Play-off

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Uzbekistan national tennis team suffered a defeat in the doubles match of the Davis Cup World Group II play-off, losing to Nigeria.

In the doubles encounter, Denis Istomin and Khumoyun Sultanov were beaten by the Nigerian pair of Canice Abua and Michael Emmanuel in straight sets, 7:6, 6:4.

After three matches played, the overall score of the tie stands at 2–1 in favor of Nigeria.
