Uzbekistan lifts import duties on a range of goods, including meat, butter and flour

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan has canceled import duties on a number of goods, including meat, butter and flour.

This is envisaged by a presidential decree on measures to ensure the implementation of the law on the state budget of Uzbekistan for 2022.

Previously, rates for these products ranged from 5% to 20%. The list included cereals, poultry, soap, etc.

The zero duty rate on these products will remain in effect until 31 December 2022.
