Uzbekistan Launches SMS Service for Rating Appeals
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Residents of Uzbekistan can now track the processing of their appeals to government agencies online and, after receiving a response, rate the outcome and request a review if necessary, the Presidential People’s Reception said.
The new feedback service was launched jointly with the Ministry of Digital Technologies and operates through SMS notifications. Information on each stage of an appeal’s processing is displayed in the user’s personal account on pm.gov.uz, while notifications are also sent to the citizen’s registered phone number.
Once an appeal has been reviewed and a response prepared, the citizen receives an SMS containing a special link. By following the link, the user can open their personal account, read the response and rate the outcome.
If the citizen agrees with the response or considers the issue resolved, they can select the “Agree” option. If the response is unsatisfactory or the issue remains unresolved, the “I have an objection” option allows the appeal to be returned for further processing and reconsideration.
The new mechanism therefore enables citizens to monitor the entire process, from submitting and processing an appeal to receiving a response and assessing how effectively the issue raised has been resolved.
