Uzbekistan jumps one place up in FIFA ranking

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) announced its new ranking of national teams.

Uzbekistan national team moved one place up in new ranking and now holds 48th place in the world.

Uzbekistan is the fourth best team in the FIFA ranking among Asian countries. Iran (27th place), Australia (40) and South Korea (44) are ahead of Uzbekistan among AFC members.

Argentina topped the FIFA ranking. Germany and Brazil share the second and third places respectively.
