Uzbekistan, Japan discuss implementation of bilateral agreements

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 5 July 2017 the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan Nobuaki Ito.

During the conversation, the sides discussed the practical aspects of implementation of earlier agreements in the field of finance and economy, establishing direct contacts between the regions of Uzbekistan and Japan, the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.

The Ambassador informed about the results of the visit of the representatives of leading Japanese media to Uzbekistan in late June.

During the meeting other issues of the Uzbek-Japanese agenda were also discussed.
