Uzbekistan increases prices for gas by 9.91%

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan will increase prices natural gas for population and enterprises from 1 October 2014. The growth rate will make up 9.91%.

According to Uzbekneftegaz, new prices for electricity and gas were approved by the Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan.

Uzbekneftegaz said that the population will pay 181.62 soums per 1 cubic meter of gas if they have gas meter. The current cost of 1 cubic meter of gas is 165.24 soums. The growth rate made up 9.91%.

At the same time, the cost of 1 cubic meter of gas, if there is no gas meter, will grow from 285.765 soums to 314.085 soums (+9.91%).
