Preparation for Shavkat Mirziyoyev's Visit to Belarus Discussed in Minsk

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A working meeting between the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Yuri Shuleiko, and the Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Laziz Kudratov, took place in Minsk.

The key focus of the negotiations was the coordination of organizational and substantive aspects of the preparations for the upcoming official visit of the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to Belarus, as well as the holding of the next Forum of Regions of the two countries. During the dialogue, the parties conducted a detailed review of the consensus positions previously established through diplomatic channels at the Belarus Embassy in Tashkent.

The Vice-Prime Minister of the Belarusian government emphasized the high significance of the upcoming summit between the leaders of the two states and noted the importance of fully synchronizing approaches to forming the final protocol of the meeting. According to Yuri Shuleiko, coordinated work will make it possible to clearly record the achieved results and outline new vectors of partnership. The Belarusian side declared its full readiness to promptly resolve the entire complex of organizational and technical issues to ensure the high-level visit.

The meeting participants agreed that the preparation process has entered its final active phase, which will help eliminate any interagency discrepancies during the upcoming large-scale events in Minsk.
