Uzbekistan to Launch E-bozor Digital Platform for Markets
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Government of Uzbekistan has adopted a resolution "On measures for the effective organization of the digitalization of markets and shopping complexes, as well as the prevention of domestic corruption." The document provides for the creation of a unified digital platform for markets called E-bozor, which will become part of the Soliq information systems suite.
According to the resolution, the platform will be launched in a pilot testing mode by 1 October of the current year and fully introduced into industrial operation by 1 March 2027.
The E-bozor platform will host profiles for each market and shopping complex, information about their locations, as well as data regarding vacant commercial structures and trading spots. In addition, users will be able to obtain information about the activities of markets and shopping complexes, send electronic requests to their administrations, and receive responses in electronic format.
The Tax Committee has been designated as the operator of the platform. It is tasked with the continuous improvement of the E-bozor functional capabilities to prevent corruption and reduce the scale of the shadow economy.
The resolution also provides for the assignment of tax authority employees to each market and shopping complex. The efficiency of their work will be analyzed daily, and the accuracy of data regarding daily revenue will be under constant monitoring directly on-site.
Additionally, parking lots located within the territories of markets and shopping complexes, as well as adjacent areas, will introduce the ability to pay for services using a single QR code.
For business entities operating within the territories of markets and shopping complexes, measures will be taken to fully provide them with online cash registers or to install QR codes for accepting cashless payments.
Furthermore, starting from 1 August of the current year, permission for the release of vehicles from specialized impound lots will be issued exclusively through the Jarima maydonchasi information system.
The permission will be verified by a QR code from the authorized body reviewing the administrative case and the enforcement agency, after which it will be transmitted in electronic form.
