Uzbekistan imports potatoes for US$52.6 million

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Between January and November 2024, Uzbekistan imported 627,000 tons of potatoes worth US$52.6 million, according to the State Statistics Agency.

The top potato-exporting countries to Uzbekistan during the 11-month period of 2024 were:

Kazakhstan — 465,200 tons

Kyrgyz Republic — 107,300 tons

Pakistan — 110,700 tons

Afghanistan — 15,900 tons

Iran — 3,000 tons

Other countries — 1,600 tons
