Uzbekistan Foreign Minister Receives Argentina’s New Ambassador

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov on 27 July received the credentials of Argentina’s newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Uzbekistan Enrique Ignacio Ferrer Vieira.

During the meeting, the sides noted the need to make more effective use of the existing potential of bilateral relations, step up political dialogue and strengthen institutional cooperation between the two countries’ foreign ministries.

Saidov stressed the importance of developing trade and economic cooperation, which he said should become one of the key pillars of bilateral relations.

The minister wished Ferrer Vieira success in carrying out his diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan.
