Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — International company Trenkwalder Group is considering launching business process outsourcing (BPO) and back-office operations in Uzbekistan. The plans were discussed at a meeting between Uzbekistan’s Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov and Trenkwalder Group Chief Operating Excellence Officer Emrah Dinch during the Global Business Services Forum 2026.
The sides discussed prospects for launching the company’s operations in Uzbekistan, further steps to implement the project and opportunities for long-term cooperation in global business services (GBS).
Founded in 1985, Trenkwalder Group provides human resources management and business process outsourcing services. The company operates in 16 European countries, with about 200 offices and more than 20,000 employees. Its annual turnover exceeds €700 million. Trenkwalder holds leading positions in the Austrian and Hungarian HR services markets and is part of international investment group Droege Group.
Company representatives said they are considering Uzbekistan as a base for recruiting personnel to serve international clients, as well as for locating BPO and back-office service centres. At the initial stage, Trenkwalder Group is considering forming a team of 100 specialists, with plans to expand the business later.
Representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan outlined the country’s opportunities for developing export-oriented service centres. The discussions covered workforce qualifications, government support measures and conditions for international companies.
The meeting also focused on organising operations, developing the BPO business and preparing a roadmap for Trenkwalder Group’s entry into the Uzbek market.
The ministry said the potential launch of Trenkwalder Group’s operations could contribute to creating new highly skilled jobs, increasing BPO services exports and expanding cooperation between Uzbekistan and European companies in HR and outsourcing.
