Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan exported 47.7 thousand tonnes of raisins to 57 foreign countries for a total of US$60 million in January–June 2026. Compared with the same period last year, the export volume increased by 704.5 tonnes, according to the National Committee on Statistics.

Kazakhstan became the largest buyer of Uzbek raisins, importing 15.2 thousand tonnes of the product. China ranked second with an import volume of 6 thousand tonnes, while Russia came in third, purchasing 5.6 thousand tonnes.

During the reporting period, 3.9 thousand tonnes of raisins were exported to Türkiye, 1.7 thousand tonnes to Iran, and 1.6 thousand tonnes to Ukraine.

Azerbaijan imported 1.4 thousand tonnes, Georgia 1.2 thousand tonnes, the United Arab Emirates 1.1 thousand tonnes, and Germany 1 thousand tonnes.

An additional 994.2 tonnes of Uzbek raisins were exported to Brazil. Other countries accounted for about 8 thousand tonnes of deliveries.

According to the UN Comtrade database, Uzbekistan exported 53 thousand tonnes of raisins in 2024, ranking seventh in the world by export volume for this product.

In 2024, Türkiye was the world's largest raisin exporter, shipping 205.9 thousand tonnes abroad. South Africa exported 81.7 thousand tonnes, China 76.4 thousand tonnes, and Chile 59.1 thousand tonnes.

India was also among the top five exporters with a volume of 55.6 thousand tonnes. The United States exported 53.7 thousand tonnes, while Uzbekistan exported 53 thousand tonnes.

Argentina followed in the ranking with 38.5 thousand tonnes, Greece with 15.6 thousand tonnes, and the Netherlands with 12.7 thousand tonnes.
