Uzbekistan exports US$3.94 billion worth of gold

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan increased the export of gold by 2.5 times in January-August 2019compared to the same period in 2018. According to the data of the State Statistics Committee.

In January-August 2019, Uzbekistan exported US$3.94 billion worth of gold.

At the same time, the share of gold in the export structure amounted to 31.6%.

It should be noted that Uzbekistan has increased gold exports in recent years. Gold exports in 2015 exceeded US$823.9 million, in 2016 - US$738.2 million, in 2017 - US$1.6 billion and in 2018 - US$2.91 billion.
