Uzbekistan, Chinese Firm Discuss Water Infrastructure

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan's Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services held talks with a delegation from China's Guangdong Industrial Environmental Protection Industry Group on prospects for cooperation in developing water infrastructure.

The discussions focused on improving water supply and wastewater systems, developing environmental infrastructure, introducing modern technologies, digitalizing the sector and applying international best practices.

Representatives of the Chinese company presented their experience in modernizing wastewater treatment facilities, improving water resource management, developing public-private partnership mechanisms and implementing digital management systems in the utilities sector.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the two sides agreed to advance mutually beneficial cooperation, continue exchanging expertise and maintain regular dialogue between specialists to support the implementation of prospective projects.
