Ferghana delegation studies major Belarusian agro-complex

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A delegation from the Ferghana region, led by Khokim Khayrullo Bozorov, continues to familiarize itself with the operations of enterprises in the Gomel region within the framework of the III Forum of Regions of Uzbekistan and Belarus.

One of the first sites visited was JSC Turovshchina, one of the largest agricultural enterprises in the Zhytkavichy district. The representatives of the Uzbek delegation inspected a grain storage facility with a capacity of 5,000 tons and reviewed the products manufactured by the enterprise.

JSC Turovshchina operates as a multi-profile agro-industrial complex. Its primary business activities include the production and sale of agricultural products, the manufacturing of canned goods through its Turov Canning Plant branch, and the provision of tourism and hunting services via its Losiny Ostrov (Elk Island) branch.

The Turov Canning Plant produces a diverse range of products. This includes pickled and canned vegetables, squash spread, canned vegetable snacks, ketchup, as well as juices made from natural fruits, vegetables, and berries, alongside concentrate-based juices.

The primary specialization of the agricultural enterprise remains the cultivation of grain, legume, fodder, and industrial crops, as well as the production of milk and meat.

The farm places a particular emphasis on implementing modern technologies in crop production and optimizing the efficient use of land resources. To execute its full range of agricultural operations, the enterprise maintains a modern fleet of agricultural machinery, along with trailing and mounted equipment.

The representatives of the Ferghana region were also presented with the company's organizational methods for agro-industrial production, which focus on increasing output volumes, ensuring a reliable supply of high-quality raw materials for processing facilities, and strengthening food security.
