Uzbekistan bans transportation of goods by old trucks through Qamchiq pass

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 6 April, the Government of Uzbekistan issued a resolution “On measures to further order freight transportation by road through the Qamchiq pass”.

The Government approved a proposal to ban transportation of goods through Qamchiq pass by trucks and lories, which were produced over 20 years.

This decision was made in order to ensure stability of freight transportation through Qamchiq pass and creation of favorable conditions for development of entrepreneurial activities in the field of road transport.
