Uzbekistan Attracts US$32.9 Billion in Investments in Seven Months
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan utilized US$32.9 billion in foreign investments and loans during the first seven months of 2026, exceeding target parameters by 31.1 percent, according to the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan.
Foreign direct investments and loans accounted for US$30.3 billion of the total utilized amount. On a regional level, US$24.3 billion in foreign capital was deployed across the country’s regions between January and July 2026, surpassing target indicators by 61.8 percent.
The Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade, in coordination with relevant state agencies and local authorities, continues to provide project support and monitor implementation schedules. To sustain the positive investment momentum, responsible bodies are conducting targeted work with project developers and foreign investors, monitoring project execution, addressing operational issues, and expediting the launch of new production capacities.
Ministry officials noted that these ongoing monitoring and support efforts aim to ensure the timely completion of investment projects and facilitate further foreign capital absorption across Uzbekistan's regions.
