Uzbekistan and Turkey to Expand Social Sector Cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The management of the National Agency for Social Protection of Uzbekistan held a meeting with the Advisor to the President of Turkey on Turkic World Affairs, Kürşad Zorlu, to discuss prospects for developing bilateral cooperation in the social sphere.
During the negotiations, the participants reviewed the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan's social protection system, as well as opportunities for expanding practical interaction between the two nations.
Special attention was paid to the implementation of digital solutions within the social protection system, the development of cooperation with civil society institutions, the support of adaptive sports, and the study of Turkish experience regarding the activities of waqfs (charitable endowments) and foundations.
Following the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their readiness to further develop the partnership, implement joint projects, and expand cooperation in the field of social protection.
