Mirziyoyev Honors Civil Servants and Industry Workers

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree conferring state awards on a group of civil servants and workers in the production and socio-economic sectors on 22 August 2026. The awards were granted in connection with the 35th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the presidential press service reported.

According to the decree, the honors were awarded for contributions to implementing reforms in New Uzbekistan, ensuring economic growth, boosting international prestige, implementing innovative technologies, developing regional infrastructure, maintaining social stability, and fostering patriotic education among youth.

The honorary title of Honored Worker of Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan was awarded to Otabek Mustakimov, director of the Central Mining Administration of Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combinat JSC, and Gulomjon Turanov, electric steelmaking furnace melter at Uzbek Metallurgical Plant JSC. The title of Honored Builder of the Republic of Uzbekistan was awarded to Bakhtiyor Akhmedov, head of the Agrokvant construction and installation enterprise in Jizzakh, and Sattarkhuja Tokhtakhodjayev, foreman at the Golden Ganj construction company in Tashkent. The title of Honored Civil Aviation Worker of the Republic of Uzbekistan was awarded to Uzbekistan Airways Boeing-787 instructor pilot Ulugbek Ishmakhamedov and A-321 aircraft commander Takhir Baibulatov.

The Order of El-Yurt Khurmati was awarded to Ibrahim Khamrayev, general director of the Mergantex cotton and textile cluster in Bukhara region; Komila Karamova, head of the Kashkadarya regional branch of the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment; Shukhrat Negmatov, chairman of the Samarkand regional branch of the Nuroniy Foundation; and the heads of the foundation's regional branches in Surkhandarya and Khorezm regions.

The Order "For Unselfish Service" was awarded to Firdavs Abdukhalikov, director of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan; Murotjon Azimov, khokim of Kashkadarya region; Khayrullo Bozarov, khokim of Ferghana region; Shavkat Umurzakov, khokim of Tashkent city; Gofurjon Mirzayev, adviser to the president; Abdullo Khursanov, chairman of the board of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combinat JSC; Dilfuza Kushmatova, crane operator at Uzmetkombinat JSC; and Muzaffar Razakov, founder of Ferghana Global Textile.

The Order of Mehnat Shukhrati was awarded to a group of 22 people, including Shavkat Abdurazakov, khokim of Namangan region; Botir Zaripov, khokim of Bukhara region; Bakhtiyor Saidov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan; Sherzod Shermatov, Minister of Digital Technologies; Kuvandik Sanakulov, chairman of Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combinat JSC; and Senator Malika Kadirkhanova.

The Order "For a Healthy Generation" I Class was awarded to Atabay Madaminov, public activist from Khorezm region; Rashid Turayev, activist from Samarkand region; and Dinora Yakubova, deputy khokim of Namangan region. The II Class was awarded to Rakhmatullo Shokhimardonov, an activist from Surkhandarya region.

The Order of Shon-Sharaf I Class was awarded posthumously to state and public figure and Honored Lawyer of Uzbekistan Mir-Akbar Rahmankulov. The II Class was awarded to Zhalolitdin Okboyev, khokim of the Gallaorol district in Jizzakh region.

The Order of Dustlik was awarded to a group of over 60 individuals, including Tamila Aliyeva, deputy head of the Presidential Administration; Komil Allamjonov, adviser to the head of the Presidential Administration; Sherzod Asadov, press secretary to the president; Laziz Kudratov, Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade; Farrukh Pulatov, chairman of the Tax Committee; Dmitry Lee, chairman of the National Agency of Perspective Projects; and Bakhtiyorjon Salimjonov, khokim of the Chust district in Namangan region.

The Order of Mardlik was awarded to Alisher Amirov, deputy khokim of Surkhandarya region; Fariddin Nasriyev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Iran; and Jamshid Khudoyev, khokim of the Jondor district in Bukhara region.

The Medal "For Faithful Services" was awarded to 23 people, including Abdulla Azizov, director of the Agency for Development of Medicine and Pharmaceuticals; Akhmad Suvonkulov, chairman of Uzsuvtaminot JSC; and Sherzod Umarov, deputy representative of the UN FAO in Uzbekistan.

The Soglom Turmush Medal was awarded to four individuals, including Zarina Zokhidova, coordinator of the Early Development Center of the Taylak district in Samarkand region, and Nilufar Fazildjanova, department head at the National Social Protection Agency.

The Kelajak Bunyodkori Medal was awarded to youth leaders and specialists, including Bobirjon Bakhtiyorov, a Columbia University Master of Laws student from Samarkand region, and Davron Egamov, founder of IT company Dyninno TAS International in Tashkent.

The Medal of Courage was awarded to over 10 individuals, including Mukarram Akbarova, a national doll maker from Tashkent region.

The Shukhrat Medal was individually awarded to 14 centenarians across the country, including Zhangil Agzamova from Tashkent region, Mukhtor Dadajonov from Andijan region, and Umit Medetova from Karakalpakstan.

The Shukhrat Medal was also awarded to a broad group of over 150 production, agriculture, transport, education, healthcare, and state sector workers, including Samar Abdiyev, director of Asia Buxara Energy in Bukhara region; Ortik Abdukadirov, electric gas welder at the Almalyk MMC zinc plant; Muzaffarbek Madrakhimov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan; and Atabek Ravshanov, chief engineer at Navoi MMC JSC.
