Uzbekistan and Oman Hold Political Consultations in Muscat

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Another round of political consultations between the ministries of foreign affairs of Uzbekistan and the Sultanate of Oman took place in Muscat on 30 June 2026. The delegations were led by Bahromjon Aloyev, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, and Khalifa al-Harthy, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman.

During the talks, the sides discussed issues regarding the further strengthening of the political dialogue between the two countries, as well as prospects for developing trade, economic, investment, and cultural-humanitarian cooperation.

The participants of the consultations paid special attention to expanding interaction within the framework of international organizations.

In addition, the representatives of the foreign ministries held a detailed exchange of views on topical issues on the international and regional agenda.
