Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan to shoot a joint adventure film "Once Upon a Time in Samarkand". A memorandum of cooperation was signed as part of the business program of the XIV Tashkent International Film Festival.

Director General of the Cinematography Agency of Uzbekistan Firdavs Abdukhalikov stressed that such a large-scale expansion of cooperation in the field of cinema became possible thanks to the policy pursued by the head of state of Uzbekistan and his attention to the field of cinematography.

In turn, the director of the Department of Cinematography under the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, Sports and Youth Policy of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Muktaly Bektenaliev noted that he was glad not only to take part in such a large-scale film festival again, but also to start cooperation with Uzbekistan.

It is worth noting that about 30 cooperation agreements with a number of countries of the world will be signed on September 15 as part of the Day of Uzbekistan.
