Uzbekistan and Allied Green Ammonia Discuss Aviation Fuel Production Project in Khorezm

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Laziz Kudratov, Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held talks with Alfred Benedict, Chairman of Allied Green Ammonia.

The meeting focused on prospects and practical aspects of implementing a large-scale industrial project in the Khorezm region aimed at producing aviation fuel.

It is recalled that in August of this year, a framework agreement was signed in Tashkent, establishing the legal basis for launching the project.

Both parties emphasized the strategic importance of the initiative for the development of renewable energy and industrial cooperation in Uzbekistan, confirming their readiness for consistent collaboration at all stages of the project’s implementation.

The project is expected to significantly strengthen the country’s energy security, enhance export potential, create new jobs, and introduce advanced “green” energy technologies. It is viewed as a key step toward achieving carbon neutrality and further diversifying the national economy.
