Uzbekistan, Romania Discuss Oil and Gas Cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In Tashkent, on the sidelines of the Tashkent International Investment Forum, a meeting was held between Deputy Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz JSC Fozil Makhmudov and Chair of the Board of Directors of Romanian company INCEPTION ELITE LLC Ramona Mănescu.

The talks were dedicated to the development of cooperation in the oil and gas sector.

The sides discussed the current state and prospects of interaction between Uzbekistan and Romania, as well as the possible implementation of investment projects in the sector. Special attention was given to establishing mutually beneficial partnership ties.

During the meeting, the parties also considered the exchange of industry expertise, the identification of new areas of cooperation, and the joint development of promising projects.

Following the talks, the sides agreed to establish a working group to carry out a more detailed study of the proposals, develop practical mechanisms for cooperation, and consider potential initiatives in the oil and gas sector.
